SummaCut R
Series Vinyl Cutter Summa's amazing technology for a vinyl cutter
can't be beat! Quality European engineering and craftmanship is the
hallmark of every Summa product. For features and affordability
SummaCut
is definitely a cut above the rest. It's an excellent value, combining
almost twice the speed and more cutting pressure than any other vinyl
cutter in this price range. It's signature feature is the long-plot
media support rollers, which are standard equipment on every model. And
the powerful servo-motor will pull the vinyl right off the roll; no need
to unwind it a bit at a time.
Summa has outdone themselves with the SummaCut R.
You still get the longest tracking, most dependable
friction-feed cutter we've ever experienced. You also get
the new & improved optical positioning (OPOS X) for
unparalleled accuracy, advanced step-and-repeat capabilities,
and flexible media handling for impeccable align and cut results
of your finished prints. OPOS X reads registration marks
on a wider range of media such as reflective, holographic,
and mirrored finishes, as well as through overlaminates. Lower your production costs and reduce waste with the
new, enhanced cutting head by cutting beyond the pinch
rollers, all the way to the edges.Bring your
business up to date.Visualize
SummaCut R's sleek, bold, new styling in your shop for
that trendy, up-to-date look. What you get is a
good looking, dependable, long-tracking,
accurate cutting, versatile, waste-reducing,
economical professional cutter.
You might notice the price is slightly higher than some
other cutters on the market. Why is that? Remember, you get what
you pay for! Ask any of us at SignEquip which cutter brand we
would buy for ourselves, and the answer is unanimous - Summa!
Quality European engineering and craftmanship is the hallmark of
every Summa product. We know all Summa vinyl
cutters as the 'Cadillacs' of vinyl cutters. Besides, the
waste-reducing benefit of the new cutting head alone could
easily save you more than the price of a new SummaCut.
If you can find another cutter with all of the features,
benefits, and cost-saving advantages of SummaCut R Series,
we'd like to hear from you.
Customer
Comment: I first used a Summa more than 5 years ago and found it to be a
real workhorse; accurate and robust. One thing I can vouch for
is its ability to cut long - in excess of thirty feet - straight
stripes in just about any material. Slowing down the speed
allows it to handle fine detail very, very well.

ABOUT SUMMA:
For more than a quarter-century, Summa engineers
have designed some of the most popular, affordable
and durable equipment solutions for the sign making,
outdoor advertising and aircraft marking industries. Summa's rich history began in a factory raised
in Gistel, Belgium in 1973. The factory was
established to assemble high-tech recording devices
used in, among other things, the manufacture of
precision optical lens. Summa's evolution into vinyl
imaging started in 1987, when it began modifying
pen-plotters for use in vinyl-cutting applications.
That evolution led to what Summa is today, a
recognized global leader in vinyl cutting and
imaging equipment for the sign, outdoor advertising
and aerospace markets.
Summa Inc. formed in January 2000
after the merger of AirMark, Inc., WestComp, Inc.,
and CalComp Display Products, Inc. (formerly
Summagraphics).
No other vinyl cutters track more
accurately, or maintain their accuracy longer than Summa. Summais the
cutter that keeps on tracking, time after time after time. Chances are
you'll never see the inside of a repair depot if you own a Summa.
