First of all, thanks to all
who participated in the “Business Boost Survey”. In order to
facilitate a helpful, successful seminar we will require a few
more interested people. For those of you who are still thinking
about it, hold that thought. I will make the survey available
again in the next couple of months. If we get enough committed
respondents we’ll be able to go ahead. If not, for those who
have already responded we’ll see what we can do for you.
Four Hearts, Two Loves
I’ve just had an amazing weekend in Calgary. Blair and I were
there to celebrate and witness our son’s wedding. While he may
have left the nest some time ago, he’s now entered the
commitment zone. Contrary to popular opinion, which seems to be
spooked by the ‘c’ word, I think there’s freedom in that. Of
course, the other ‘c’ word is challenges, but then life is full
of them.
We had a lot of fun in Calgary with relatives and old friends,
as well as new. It was definitely party time! Something we don’t
do often enough. Balance is the thing here. Partying all the
time is counterproductive, I know, but some of us really need to
do it more often. So, if you’re someone who can’t remember
letting down your hair (or your feathers) make an excuse and do
it. Have a wedding, or if that’s too scary for you, encourage
someone else to do it. Just make sure you’re invited!
The Corbins will have another chance to do it this summer. Must
be something in the water! Our daughter’s wedding is the end of
August. Nothing like emptying both of my pockets! But I can’t
think of a better reason.
Shhhhhhh!
I’ve decided to devote a bit more time to my book recommendation
this month. What better time than during the summer (maybe
you’re taking vacation time) to catch up on your reading. If
there’s one book that’s an absolute must, it’s T. Harv Eker’s
“Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. I’m currently reading it for
the second time, and keep in mind
I’ve already attended six of Harv’s seminars. So, you’re
thinking I might be biased. Well, yeaahh!! With good reason.
These seminars, especially Millionaire Mind Intensive have
changed my entire attitude irrevocably for the better. This in
turn has made a huge difference in my life. If you’ve been
following my column, I think you’ll get the gist of what I mean.
And this book is an incredible reminder to continue practicing
all the things I’ve learned so far.
Allow me to quote from the book, “Becoming rich isn’t as much
about getting rich financially as about whom you have to become,
in character and mind, to get rich. ...the fastest way to get
rich and stay rich is to work on developing you! The idea is to
grow yourself into a successful person. Again, your outer world
is merely a reflection of your inner world. You are the root;
your results are the fruits.” - T. Harv Eker.
Tough Love
Notice I’m really adamant about what Harv and his company, Peak
Potentials can do for you. Why? Because I’ve personally
witnessed what he’s done for so many. He’s an extremely gifted
trainer at not only getting his message across, but in getting
you to feel it and live it. When you attend enough of his
seminars you make friends, and you keep bumping into people who
have amazing stories to tell about how their lives have improved
since they’ve been practicing what they’ve learned. Most of them
will tell you they were figuratively slapped upside the head by
Harv’s “Millionaire Mind” message.
Let’s face it, he’s
passionate about getting his message across, and not always
gentle. In his own words, “I’ll do whatever it takes to make you
ten times happier and a hundred times as rich. If you’re looking
for Pollyanna, I’m not your guy.” Don’t let it fool you though,
along with all that passion comes compassion. Still, Harv
believes in challenging you, and for me it has worked
incredibly. I mean, life is full of challenges, and the sooner
you learn to face them, the sooner you’ll overcome them, and the
sooner you will succeed. But it’s absolutely necessary to step
outside your comfort zone in order to do that.
So, if you think just maybe you need a challenge, one that will
make you more successful than you are today, dig deep enough to
pull $25 out of your pocket, and buy the book. That’s only the
start. Read it, then register for your two FREE tickets worth
$2,590 to the “Millionaire Mind Intensive”, with the scholarship
offered on page 196. But hurry! Two reasons: this is the last
printing of the book that will have this offer included- Corbins
has copies available for as long as they last - and the seminar
must be completed by July 2006. Space is limited, so the time to
register is now. I rest my case.
Buzzzzz!
Oh, did I mention you’ll meet a lot of amazing people and get
incredible support and encouragement from everyone while you’re
working through your stuff at this seminar? It’s an extremely
compassionate, high energy place to be - I’ve never experienced
the likes of it. It’s also a lot of fun. Okay, now I’ll shut up!
Speaking of meeting amazing people, we’d like to meet all of
you. Some of you we’ve already met, but we’d love to see more of
you - or at least hear from you. Drop in. Give us a call. Tell
us how we can help you. Put us to work for you. That’s what
we’re here for.
For your success,
Team Corbin
