Where to start? Did I
mention that spring is my favourite season? How can you beat the
freshness of emerging life, the lengthening days, the lingering
warmth of the sun on your skin, despite the briskness of the
air? And unlike summer it’s not followed by the bleak, drying up
of all the shades of green, but by smiling summer itself.
Something more wonderful to look forward to. How much better can
it get? I know there are those who would point out the glorious,
changing colours, and the crispness of the autumn air; or that
evergreens are just that. But like I said, I love spring!
Harv to Heart
Now that I’ve made my position clear, there is some news to
report. First of all, Blair returned excited about his March
trip to Guerilla Business School in Vancouver. This is another
highly recommended, dynamic Peak Potentials program. If you’re
serious about your business, this is a must do - shades of
Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice”, but no one was fired! Although,
I understand downtown Vancouver will never be the same!!
And then there was the story about the CEO of Smith and Wesson:
Did you know he was a convicted criminal? (Darryl, that was for
you.)
A glutton for information, Blair chased GBS with the 5-Point
Star Trader seminar in Calgary the following week. Once again,
he came away enthusiastic, although by now somewhat overwhelmed.
This introductory course, albeit incredibly revealing, is
exactly that, an introduction. It needs to be followed up with a
few more courses, in order to put the system into play.
Of course, Blair is an ambitious guy. I’ve noticed these courses
are at the top of his wish list. To that end, he’s focusing his
attention on creating the means to make these wishes come true.
Well, whatever works. It should be a win, win situation around
here as far as that’s concerned. With all his new found wisdom
and motivation, you’d be hard pressed to find a better leader
for any organization. Although, I have a strange suspicion the
whip’s about to crack. I think my wings are going to get some
exercise!
According to Willie
Blair, Blair, Blair.... It seems it’s all about him, lately!
Just recently his exploits took him to Orlando for the
International Sign Association expo. Always one to maximize his
potential, he managed to squeeze in some product research,
schmoozing with the manufacturers, a trip to Universal Studios,
and relaxing around the pool. Apparently, he’s actually getting
that balance thing figured out. Good on him!
He did bring a case full of literature back with him - proof
that he really did work while he was away. (Might’ve guessed
someone would be checking up on him!) What this means is yet to
be revealed, but keep your eyes open. There are sure to be some
happenings at Corbins in the next while. The best part - all
this will be in your favour.
Superior service, innovative products, it’s what we’re all
about.
To Dyer For
Before I scoot, I’d like to squeeze in another quick book
recommendation. While Blair’s been gallivanting, I’ve been
reading the Wayne Dyer bestseller, “There’s a Spiritual Solution
to Every Problem”. Amazing book! Read it. Enough said.
Of course, not to be outdone, since I wouldn’t let the
aforementioned book out of my sight, Blair went out and bought
the most recent Wayne Dyer publication, “The Power of
Intention”. Another glowing report!
